The Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit Refresher course is for residents of El Paso County, Colorado who have a current concealed handgun permit and need to renew their permit before their expiration date.
This course meets all the refresher training requirements for Colorado's new CHP laws enacted by House Bill 24-1174. The class structure covers all the necessary topics and evaluations for you to submit your renewal for a concealed handgun permit.
Colorado requires students to pass a live fire evaluation of their abilities. The instructor will provide marksmanship training to help you succeed. You may make multiple attempts on the day of the exam at the expense of your ammunition. You may also retake this class at a discounted rate if necessary.
Colorado requires students to pass an open-book, open-notes written exam. All questions on the exam will be covered in this class and requires no outside preparation.
